Take the Saboteur Assessment

Knowing your top Saboteurs -- the part of your mind doing you the most damage -- is the first step to reducing the harm they cause.

The Saboteur Assessment is the first step to identifying your Saboteurs to expose their lies and discredit them.

It takes just 5 minutes to complete the assessment, and you'll receive a full report on the makeup of your Saboteurs. Use the same email address that you registered for the Positive Intelligence app, and your report will be linked to your profile.

What do my scores in the Saboteur Assessment mean?

The scores in your Saboteur Assessment measures the relative strength of your Saboteurs. The higher the number, the more that Saboteur is messing with you.

Weakening your Saboteurs is the goal, so the lower the number, the better.

By weakening your Saboteurs, strengthening your Sage and doing PQ Reps to grow your muscle of Self-Command, you'll see the numbers start to decline.

All of Shirzad's research on Saboteur can be found in the footnotes of the best-selling book, Positive Intelligence.

What is PQ Score?

The PQ Score is the indicator for the percentage of time your mind is acting like your friend, instead of your enemy.

This quotient is a percentage, from 1 to 100. A PQ Score of 75 is the tipping point, where your Sage is working for you 75% of the time and your Saboteurs are working against you the remaining 25%.

You want your mind to be serving you instead of sabotaging you at this goal of PQ Score 75.

There are a lot of variables that go into your PQ score and you'll see the number fluctuate by day, circumstances and mood. Taking the assessment over multiple days helps determine a more accurate number.

Please know we advise taking the PQ Score assessment at least 3 times over 2 weeks, then calculate the average instead of going with 1 metric over another.

If you're looking for more information on the PQ Score, this is located in chapter 8 (page 121) of Shirzad's Positive Intelligence book.

Is PQ right for me?

We want everyone to reach their true potential and have participants from all over the world join our programs every week, whether individuals looking to achieve more, corporate teams leading their employees or coaches helping their clients. They're increasing their PQ for better results in performance, happiness and often leading to higher success, by weakening their Saboteurs and growing their Sage.

Is PQ right for you? Please know it depends on you.

This is the right program for you if you are:

  • committed to improving your performance and effectiveness remarkably while reducing stress

  • looking for a science-based and trusted system to make it stick

  • willing to put in the base effort to rewire years of mental habits that don't serve you.

PQ Program

The six-week PQ Program is designed like a mental fitness bootcamp and combines weekly video sessions with daily app-guided practices to boost your 3 core mental fitness muscles.

3 Core muscles:

  • Saboteurs Interceptor Muscle: Your Saboteurs generate all your negative emotions, including stress, anxiety, self-doubt, anger, avoidance, procrastination, insensitivity or discontent. Mental fitness requires the ability to intercept and discredit the Saboteurs.

  • Sage Muscle: Your Sage is the one in you that handles challenges with a clear and calm mind, and positive emotions. It also has access to your 5 primary powers.

All you need to paint any canvas is 3 primary colors. Similarly, through factor analysis research we’ve discovered that there are only 5 primary powers: Empathize, Explore, Innovate, Navigate, and Activate. For peak performance, you learn to boost all 5 powers and know when to use which power.

  • Self-Command Muscle: You’re not in full command of your mind. If you were, you would choose to entirely silence the Saboteurs in your head. You would choose to not stress out over what you can’t control, push away self-doubts, recover from disappointments immediately, and spend little time in anger, regret, or blame.

PQ Program vs. traditional training

Traditional training and development tends to have short-lived impact for 3 reasons:

  • Focus on insight rather than muscle. For example, the insight that being frustrated isn't helpful doesn’t automatically lead to you not feeling frustrated. That would require mental muscles to shift brain activation.

  • Treating symptoms rather than cause. For example, teaching you techniques of active listening to improve empathy will have temporary impact if your deeply-seated Judge Saboteur is not exposed and intercepted.

  • No common operating system. Since each training you attend uses a different framework—the 7 steps of managing conflict, the 5 secrets of managing time, etc.--the frameworks compete for mindshare and all fade away.

Through extensive factor analysis research, PQ has identified the 10 root-level negative factors (Saboteurs) and the 5 primary powers (Sage). This enables a common operating system.

All personal and professional development become applications of the PQ operating system. Whether learning to manage conflicts, manage time, or perform better under pressure, you’d apply the same exact operating system:

  • Intercept Saboteurs

  • Issue Self-Command (through 10-second PQ Reps)

  • Mobilize Sage (Empathize, Explore, Innovate, Navigate, Activate)

You’d be using one simple framework for a variety of applications, boosting root-level mental fitness.

This dramatically simplifies personal and professional development.

After the PQ Program: you have the option to maintain... or carry on with pq Grow

After completion of the six-week PQ Program program, there are two choices on how to proceed: Maintain or Grow.

Option 1: MAINTAIN CURRENT STRENGTH

Maintain your current strength level through continued use of the App in its current state.

  • No new content.

If you choose this option, please know you will have access to all content for 1 year, including your Pod and Community, without gaining new Muscle.

Option 2: KEEP GROWING IN STRENGTH

Grow additional strength by continuing to strengthen your Sage and PQ muscles and further weakening Saboteurs through:

  • New Focus of Days, Coach Challenges, and Reflections

  • New Option to either Skip or Un-skip weekend content to be truly self-paced

  • New Ability to change your current Focus of the Day (from previous ones)

  • New Ability to customize your Grow experience by selecting Themes

  • New Stress Management, Conflict Management & Energy/Impact Optimization modules

We will not transfer Personally identifiable Data (PID) outside of the US without specific permission in line with our internal policies and in accordance with all relevant legislation.

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).

The GDPR's primary aim is to enhance individuals' control and rights over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business.

What is ISO 270001?

ISO 27001 is an international standard on how to manage information security. It details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS) – the aim of which is to help organizations make the information assets they hold more secure. Organizations that meet the standard's requirements can choose to be certified by an accredited certification body following successful completion of an audit.

Positive Intelligence has been ISO 27001 accredited since May 2021.  To request more information on our certification or to request validation of the certification, please contact infosec@positiveintelligence.com

Does PQ track my location?

No, PQ does not track your location at any time and hold no data other than your IP address, which is used to validate your login.  An IP address can tell us an estimate of your location (e.g. state or country) but we use it simply to protect you from data attacks and do not track it in any way.

How do you keep my information safe?

PQ has invested heavily in both our data security infrastructure and our internal policies and procedures.  We are ISO 27001 certified which means we have been externally audited to confirm our security policies meet international standards.  In addition, we run regular data security penetration tests on our software to ensure our software meets or exceeds OWASP standards.

What personal data do you have about me?

Apart from the data you put into the PQ app about yourself, we only hold data on how you use the app.  For example your muscle scores and what content you have watched.  If you find any data that is inaccurate, please contact our Customer Services team, who will ensure that it gets corrected if you are unable to correct it yourself from within the PQ app.

Can I withhold consent from data collection?

Yes, if you don't want us to hold any of your data, you can request that, but it would mean a significant drop in the usefulness of the PQ app as we would not be able to hold your PQ muscle score, data on your Saboteurs or your journal data.  To request your data to be removed, please submit a request here

Can I access the information you currently have on me?

Yes, in line with GDPR, if you would like to know what data we have on you, please submit a request here. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe and consistent with applicable law.

How are my registration and financial information kept safe?
